Recently, more than 20 students with their professors from Myongji University in Korea arrived at Jagadguru Kripalu University in Banara, Odisha. The students were in the University to attend a 4 –day “Naturopathy Training Program” organised by JK University.
Myongji University is located in South Korea and provides higher education in the fields of engineering, sciences and humanities. It was founded in the year 1948 and is today a global university that offers world class education. The founding spirit of the university is to educate people to not only contribute to national culture and economics but also to world peace and development of human culture.
The visit of delegates from Myongji University, marked an important milestone in Jagadguru Kripalu University’s journey to raise the standard of education and research in the specialized field of Yoga and Naturopathy. A MOU was signed between Jagadguru Kripalu Yog Trust on behalf of JK University and Myongiji University Sports for “All Studies Healing Yoga Department” for carrying out the joint project of Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy training course by confirming the friendly relations as well as mutual trust.
A strong foundation has already been laid for the relation between the two universities. The 4 day training program included both practical and theoretical sessions which the participants found extremely insightful. At the end of the training program, Vice Chancellor designate of JK University Dr. S Ramaratnam handed over certificate of participation to all the students.
