International Gita Festival
Gita Enthusiasts across the globe participate in the Grand JKYog International Gita Festival!
JKYOG organizes the biggest online event - International Gita Festival to celebrate the timeless wisdom of Gita!
Hundreds of Gita enthusiasts from all over the world participated in the 20 plus contests conducted by JKYog. The International Gita Festival is a humble attempt by JKYog to spread this priceless wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to as many people as possible.
The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most elevating scriptures one could ever find in the vast ocean of Vedic scriptures. The Gita constitutes the divine words of Shree Krishna and it's popularity is widespread. Be it the east or the west, the Gita and it's teachings are followed by many spiritual aspirants.
Even though the Gita is highly revered, with the passage of time there have been numerous interpretations and commentaries on the Gita. The sophisticated knowledge thus is understood only by a few while the others find it too difficult to understand or interpret it.
Swami Mukundananda, a senior disciple of the fifth original Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj has written an explicit commentary on the Gita which is easily comprehensible. Swamiji has very beautifully explained the concepts of the Gita with modern day illustrations and relevant stories to make it perceptible for the common man. Swamiji's aim is to present this Vedic wisdom in the simplest form so that this knowledge can be accessed by each and every one in the world. High level concepts such as Kshetra and Kshetragya, Karm Yog, Karm Sanyas, Renunciation, Surrender etc. have been elaborated in a way that anyone could grasp and implement in their day - to - day life. This Gita also known as the Song of God is available in various other languages such as Hindi, Odia and Telugu.
International Gita Festival organized multiple contests for all age groups. Children, youth and adults enthusiastically participated in these different contests. Some of them were Gita Recitation, Jeopardy, Identifying the verse by the meaning, Identifying the meaning with the verse, Prepared Speech, Spelling Contest, Sketching, Craft Making and Designing.
