Gita Enthusiasts across the globe participate in the Grand JKYog International Gita Festival!

The International Bhagavad Gita Festival 2023 was a grand celebration of the five-millennia-old perennial wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, offering cultural tribute to the Almighty. Hosted by JKYog, this annual event began on the 10th of April and concluded on the 16th of April with a feverish flourish. The festival witnessed 30+ creative contests with participants across the globe, 250-plus inspired Gita enthusiasts from, and 5000-plus live-stream viewers, making it a huge success, solely by the immense grace of the Supreme Lord.

The week-long festival was filled with a variety of events that included breathtaking knowledge imparted by Swami Mukundananda ji. devotional lamp-lighting, enthralling enactments, cultural dance offerings, recitation of the entire Bhagavad Gita by global participants, wisdom-filled stories, practical tools for everyday living with Gita workshops, Gita Upadesh, and enlightening conversations with special guests and Swamiji.

The festival was launched with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Swami Mukundananda ji. Renowned dance artists and troupes such as Indian Raga, Jashoda Patel, and Shreewarna Rawt, offered their exceptional talents to beloved Shree Krishna.

The event also featured enactments that provided an avenue for devotees to internalize the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. These enactments answered deep philosophical topics such as the formula for success, the reality of Karma, who our true relative is, and the spirit of performing duties.

Another enticing segment was the everyday Gita Anecdotes which encompassed inspiring stories such as the Benevolent King Raghu, the Gopis and River Yamuna, the Golden Ring and many more. Every day was concluded with the powerful Gita Upadesh, as the audience relished wisdom from Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj's kirtans and teachings.

The Gita workshops provided valuable practical knowledge to deal with everyday problems. They offered solutions to problems such as getting rid of stress, bridging the gap between science and spirituality, understanding true meditation, discovering the career path according to one’s disposition, and nurturing relationships.

The festival also hosted special interviews with renowned authors such as Roopa Pai, who shared her journey of writing "The Gita for Children." Swami Mukundananda ji compassionately answered deep spiritual questions from author Medha Deshmukh Bhaskaran. Furthermore, the festival witnessed the exciting unveiling of book cover of Swami Mukundananda ji's upcoming book "The Art & Science of Happiness".
