Blanket distribution in Tikia, Odisha

Swami Mukundananda during his programs distributes the inspiration to progress on the path of spirituality. This time during his program in Tikia, a small town in Odisha, Swamiji also distributed warm blankets to the poor and needy. The blanket distribution was another activity as a part of the philanthropic initiatives taken up by JKYog to support the underprivileged sections of the society.

JKYog had established Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalay, a free and fully charitable hospital in Banara, Odisha in 2013. This hospital is a part of the Jagadguru Kripalu University project. Today the hospital provides advanced allopathic treatments and medical services to thousands of villagers residing around Banara.  It also regularly organises blood donation camps, free cataract surgeries and much more.

Swami Mukundananda believes that all the charitable activities taken up by JKYog are an expression of the grace and compassion of Shree Maharajji upon the souls of the world. Hence, Swamiji’s programs in rural parts of Odisha are aimed at uplifting people spiritually and also supporting the needy and poor. So the blanket distribution during his program in Tikia was received by with love and gratefulness. The recipients of blankets thanked Swamiji, and said they will now be warm and comfortable in the cold winter months.

The blanket distribution was a part of the spiritual program organised in Tikia. Thousands of people gathered to listen to Swamiji’s enlightening discourse.  In his lecture, Swamiji spoke about how to make our lives auspicious and become better people. He also made everyone resolve to traverse in the direction of good thoughts, good actions, and good character in 2016.
