The Art of Working in Divine Consciousness

Lord Shri Ram in Ramcharitmanas tells us that only a virtuous man who is pure from his heart could attain him and, that he doesn’t like one who indulges himself in fraudulent or deceptive acts.

Though enthusiasm is the energy that fuels us towards tremendous action, it is necessary to be focused in the right direction. Swami Mukundanand in his book 7 Mindsets for success, happiness and fulfilment writes

Enthusiasm without proper direction is like a high-speed car with broken steering and no brakes.

There is a concept of Game theory in economics that predicts the outcomes of different real-life situations proxies as games. One of the foremost mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr used this game theory to predict the equilibrium in different situations also known as Nash equilibrium. Nash equilibrium predicts the most stable equilibrium in a situation and almost always it results in suboptimal equilibrium only because it considers the deceptive behavior which people engaged in. If we could remove the deception it would predict an outcome equilibrium which is much better than the earlier stable equilibrium. However, this is only one of the situations which shows us how much we could gain if we all attempt to attain a state of pure intention.

Our intentions also help us to define and measure true success. Swami Mukundanand in his book 7 Mindsets for success, happiness and fulfilment outline the true meaning of success as – a) To be good, b) To do good and, c) To feel good. Bible says:

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48)

Striving to do the best and keep growing in our virtue are two of the foremost goals we have in our human life. By pursuing these goals, we could fulfill our desire to be happy. Pure intentions also relieve us from the present-day epidemic – stress. Every one of us is facing this issue all the time. Our intentions for results decide the level of our stress. More we are attached to the outcomes and more we possess the unwillingness to accept any other possible outcomes, more we have the issue of stress. Stress in our life snatches from us our deepest yearning – Desire to be happy.

But the question is why do we ALWAYS strive to be happy? If we could achieve these by having pure intentions, how would we know which intention in pure? What is the remedy for stress? Read this 5th chapter of Swami Mukundanand's latest book 7 Mindsets for success, happiness, and fulfilment, where Swamiji explains in detail the concept of pure intention and Karm Yog in detail. Enlighten with all the divine knowledge of the root cause of stress and ways to relieve it, defining our true success and one of the most important questions of our life – Why do we always yearn for happiness and how would we achieve it.
