Chhote Philosopher Contest
JKY is committed to
the overall development of a child’s future, in a highly
conducive spiritual environment. Under the portfolio of
“Bal-Mukund”, JKY is proud to announce the
launching of a “Chhote Philosopher Contest” designed for
children residing in US between the ages of 8 years to 18 years
(3rd grade to high school
seniors).
The purpose of this
contest is to promote a sound understanding of our Vedic culture
so that children will be able to apply teachings from the Vedas,
Gita and Upanishads in their day-to-day life.
Through focused
readings in answering essay questions, children will be able to
comprehend teachings of our vedic-culture and gain practical
knowledge on how to face challenges in their lives. This
practical knowledge is an indispensable tool in a highly dynamic
and rapidly changing environment such as the one we live in
today. This program is designed to inspire youth to reach their
maximum potential and harness their inner talents and writing
skills. These essay questions will be specifically designed for
appropriate age-group.
